After 4 months of ownership I noticed something weird recently, my car doesn’t make a noise when my indicators are on. Finally, old people in Porsches with their turn signals perpetually on makes sense! Haha but really, it doesn’t seem to be a setting or anything, just a quirk...or feature...
Anyone ever heard of such a thing?

My Cobalt does the same thing. I actually PREFER the sound to be off. It drives me nuts to hear indicator sounds. And as a note, I always know when my indicators are on or off.

I don’t know that my Volkswagen car makes any clicking or clacking. Maybe I can’t hear a faint ticking because I’m listening to music or a podcast.
And that's fine. I'm conscious of activating and deactivating the turn signals.

The signals in my fintail make the faintest noise, I think via the blinker regulator rather than an intentional sound for the driver . I don’t mind the lack of noise.

I was once in an older Suzuki and it also didn’t make an indicator sound, it’s quite odd.
